On March 14, 2025, Foushee criticized the Republican continuing resolution (CR), stating that it "gives a blank check to Donald Trump and Elon Musk." She emphasized that cloture is essential for compelling Republicans to negotiate towards a bipartisan budget bill. Foushee urged Senate Democrats to oppose voting for cloture as it equates to supporting the partisan GOP funding bill. "The Republican CR gives a blank check to Donald Trump and Elon Musk. Cloture is our legislative leverage to get Republicans to work towards a bipartisan budget bill."

Later that day, Foushee expressed her support for healthcare autonomy by announcing her participation with 237 colleagues in filing an amicus brief aimed at defending Medicaid patients' rights. This action underscores the importance of allowing individuals the freedom to choose their health providers without interference. She highlighted the significance of Planned Parenthood's role in providing essential health services. "Every person has the right to choose their health providers without interference."

In another tweet posted on March 14, 2025, Foushee announced that applications were open for her Summer 2025 internship program available in both Durham and Washington D.C. offices. The program offers interns insights into constituent services and the legislative process while honing research and writing skills."Applications are now open for my Summer 2025 internship program in my Durham and DC offices!"
