Her statements focus on concerns about unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), privacy and government agency operations, and political actions taken by the Trump Administration.

On February 12, 2025, Congresswoman Foushee highlighted potential safety risks posed by the increased use of Unmanned Aircraft Systems at airports nationwide. She stated: "The recent uptick in usage of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) poses safety risks for airports across the country. At last week's @Transportdems hearing, I asked experts about airport-specific approaches to UAS detection and the role of the FAA in counter-UAS deployment."

Later that day, she addressed concerns from constituents regarding Elon Musk's access to personal information and actions perceived as unconstitutional. Foushee remarked: "My office has received thousands of calls from concerned constituents about Elon Musk's access to personal information and the unconstitutional shuttering of government agencies. Last week, I joined @UNCConnection to discuss how Democrats are combatting DOGE's illegal actions."

On February 14, 2025, Congresswoman Foushee expressed gratitude towards participants in her telephone town hall meeting. She shared: "Thank you to everyone who tuned into my telephone town hall!
