County of Durham issued the following announcement on Nov. 5.
The Durham County Department of Public Health (DCoDPH) is now scheduling COVID-19 vaccination appointments for children ages 5-11. These vaccinations will be available for walk-ins or appointments at the DCoDPH COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic beginning Monday, November 8.
These vaccinations will also be available in limited quantities for walk-ins only at the following community vaccination events:
Friday, November 5, 3:00pm-6:30pm:
- Voyager Academy. 101 Hoc Park Ln., Durham, NC 27704
- Pfizer vaccinations available for children ages 5-11
- Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson first-third doses and booster doses available for all eligible individuals
- Durham County Memorial Stadium. 750 Stadium Dr., Durham, NC 27704
- Pfizer vaccinations available for children ages 5-11
- Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson first-third doses and booster doses available for all eligible individuals
The DCoDPH COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic located at 414 E. Main St., Durham, NC 27701. The clinic is open for walk-ins or appointments Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 9:00AM-4:00PM, and Tuesdays, 9:00AM-6:00PM; closed daily 11:30AM-1:00PM. In addition to vaccinations for children ages 5-11, DCoDPH also continues to provide first and second dose vaccinations for all people 12 and older; Pfizer booster vaccinations for eligible individuals; and third dose Moderna and Pfizer vaccinations for people who are moderately to severely immunocompromised.
