Morrisville Police Department issued the following announcement on Nov. 10.
On Friday night, the Morrisville Police Department conducted a multi-agency DWI Checkpoint than included various law enforcement agencies throughout the county. The checkpoint was located at the intersection of Chapel Hill Rd and Keybridge Dr.
At the end of the night, there were over 35 Chapter 20 traffic violations, 4 narcotics charges, 1 concealed weapons charge, 1 failure to appear warrant and 5 people stopped for avoiding a checkpoint. We had the following agencies involved in this checkpoint:
State Highway Patrol
Morrisville PD
Apex PD
Wake Forest PD
Wendell PD
Cary PD
Rolesville PD
Fuquay-Varina PD
Wake County Sheriff’s Office
Holly Springs PD
