County of Durham issued the following announcement on Aug. 26.
Durham County Government will close most offices in recognition of the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 6, 2021. All County offices will re-open with their normal hours of operation on Tuesday, September 7.
Residents should note that some County offices continue to operate with limited on-site staff due to COVID-19 guidelines and that some services require appointments. A full schedule detailing holidays observed by Durham County Government in 2021 is available here.
