Durham County Veteran Services will have limited operations from March 18 to March 20, 2025. This temporary change is due to staff attending annual accreditation training. Normal services will resume on Friday, March 21, at 8:30 a.m.

During this period, appointments with a Veteran Services Officer will not be available. Customers can still contact the department by phone at 919-560-8387, via email at veteranservices@dconc.gov, or by visiting their office located at 201 N. Roxboro Street in Durham.

Veterans requiring immediate assistance for Veterans Affairs Healthcare applications can reach out to the Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center at 508 Fulton Street or call them at 919-286-0411.

For help with filing Compensation, Pension, or other Veterans Affairs benefit claims, veterans are advised to contact the United States Department of Veterans Affairs Call Center at 800-827-1000.
