The recent international break brought notable performances from North Carolina Courage players representing their national teams.

Manaka Matsukubo contributed to Japan's victory in the SheBelieves Cup, marking her first title in the competition. "Manaka appeared in all three matches as a substitute," including her debut against Australia. Her efforts were significant in Japan's win over the United States, where she played alongside new teammate Jaedyn Shaw.

Jaedyn Shaw showcased her skills for the United States during the SheBelieves Cup. In the match against Australia, she assisted on Lynn Biyendolo's opening goal and was praised by USWNT Head Coach Emma Hayes: "I thought Jaedyn played really well... It was high-level technical execution from her." Hayes emphasized Shaw's versatility and potential across various attacking roles.

Denise O’Sullivan impressed for Ireland in their UEFA Women’s Nations League opener with a 1-0 win over Türkiye. Courage Head Coach Sean Nahas remarked, "This is NO surprise to us that she was at a different level." O'Sullivan also participated fully in Ireland’s subsequent match against Slovenia.

Feli Rauch reached a milestone of 50 caps for Germany during this window, contributing to their draw with the Netherlands and victory over Austria.

Aline Gomes attended Brazil’s training camp, preparing for upcoming friendlies and Copa América Femenina.

These players will now return to North Carolina Courage as they prepare for their NWSL season opener against Racing Louisville on March 15.
