Congresswoman Valerie Foushee, representing North Carolina's 4th district, has recently expressed her views on several pressing issues through a series of tweets. Serving in the U.S. Congress since 2023, Foushee has been vocal about various political matters.

On February 4, 2025, Congresswoman Foushee tweeted about Elon Musk's alleged actions concerning the U.S. Treasury. She stated: "Elon Musk, the richest man on earth, is stealing your personal financial information through an illegal takeover of the U.S. Treasury." Foushee mentioned that she was at the Treasury Building in Washington D.C., alongside her colleagues from House Democrats, to demand an end to what she described as an "unprecedented power grab & privacy breach."

The following day, February 5, 2025, Foushee addressed Republican efforts related to the Department of Education. She tweeted: "Republican attempts to dismantle @USEdGov would disrupt support for K-12 schools, students with disabilities, and students from low-income households." Expressing her support for the Department of Education Protection Act, she emphasized safeguarding this agency to ensure educational support for all students.

Later on February 5th, Foushee commented on international affairs concerning Palestinians and Israelis. Her tweet read: "Trump’s comments on forcing Palestinians to leave Gaza are incomprehensible and inhumane." She advocated for peace and security through a two-state solution as the best path forward.
