North Carolina Courage loans Victoria Pickett to AFC Toronto

The North Carolina Courage announced that midfielder Victoria Pickett will be loaned to AFC Toronto in the Northern Super League. The agreement, which includes a fee, will commence on February 1, 2025, and continue until December 31, 2025.

Pickett has played 29 regular-season games for the Courage over two seasons. During her time with the team, she scored one goal and provided one assist in 836 minutes of play. She also participated in eight cup competitions, contributing to the team's victory in the 2023 NWSL Challenge Cup and helping them reach the semifinals of the 2024 NWSLxLiga MX Femenil Summer Cup.

Victoria Pickett joined the Courage through a trade from Gotham FC in 2023. Her professional journey began when she was drafted as the 15th overall pick by Kansas City Current in 2021 after playing for the University of Wisconsin. At Wisconsin, she earned first-team All-Big Ten honors twice, in both 2017 and 2018. Before her move to Gotham FC in August of 2022, she played parts of two seasons with Kansas City, appearing in a total of 35 games with 30 starts.

Currently, North Carolina Courage has a roster of 33 players at their preseason camp. This includes having contracts with 27 players and actively engaging with a squad of 26 players.
