Congresswoman Valerie Foushee, representing North Carolina's 4th district, has been vocal on social media regarding several key issues. Her recent tweets address concerns about privacy, local governance priorities, and public transportation equity.

On February 4, 2025, Congresswoman Foushee expressed her concerns over privacy invasion by an unelected billionaire. She stated: "It’s outrageous that an unelected billionaire is taking over our government & stealing personal information from the American people. With @HouseDemocrats, I’m pursuing legislation against this invasion of privacy & am calling for hearings to stop the illegal Musk/DOGE takeover."

Later that day, she highlighted her meeting with officials from Wake County. On February 4, 2025, she tweeted: "It was great meeting officials with @WakeGov to discuss local priorities including housing affordability and support for EMS services. Thank you for the work you all do, and I look forward to continuing our work to uplift Wake County residents in the months and years ahead."

Additionally, Congresswoman Foushee commemorated Rosa Parks' birthday by promoting transit equity. On February 4, 2025, she posted: "On Rosa Parks' birthday, we honor her historic protest by celebrating #TransitEquityDay. I’m proud to reintroduce my resolution recognizing Transit Equity Day and the importance of ensuring access to safe, reliable, and affordable public transportation."
