City of Durham Police Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 3.
Open houses are held twice a month as a hybrid online/in-person event.
By attending an Open House, attendees can meet directly with recruiters to ask questions and learn more about the hiring process, benefits/salary of being a Durham Police Officer, training requirements, etc. Attending the open house is optional, but strongly encouraged so applicants have a full understanding of the hiring process and requirements to become a Durham Police Officer.

TIME: 6pm – 7pm
LOCATION: In-person attendees should meet in the Police Headquarters Lobby by 5:45pm. The Open House itself will take place in the Recruiting Classroom. Virtual attendees can follow the link they receive when they register via Zoom.
