TOWN OF MORRISVILLE: Carpenter Road (MCR) Improvements Project update for the week of November 28

Town of Morrisville issued the following announcement on Nov. 28.

The Morrisville Carpenter Road (MCR) Improvements Project update for the week of November 28:

The final paving for this project will start today, Monday, Nov. 28. One lane in each direction will be open on MCR during the paving operations.

Drivers should expect delays on MCR during this time. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes, if possible (such as Morrisville Parkway or McCrimmon Parkway).

The rectangular rapid flashing beacon (RRFB) poles in the median on MCR were removed to prepare for final paving. The poles are for the two crosswalks: One at Old Savannah Drive and another at Ranglin Street. The RRFB poles at both locations behind the curb are still in place and working. Since the RRFBs in the median area have been removed, pedestrians are advised to use caution when they cross Morrisville Carpenter Road. At the RRFB location at Ranglin Street, the median area has been barricaded and pedestrians are advised to walk safely around that barricade.
