Courage players join national teams for key qualifiers and friendlies

North Carolina Courage captain Denise O’Sullivan is set to lead Ireland in their quest for a spot in the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 during the upcoming international window. Ireland will face Wales over two legs, with the aggregate winner securing a place in the tournament to be held in Switzerland. Ireland advanced by defeating Georgia 9-0 on aggregate, while Wales overcame Slovakia in extra time to reach this final qualifying round. The first match will take place in Cardiff, followed by the second leg at Dublin’s Aviva Stadium.

The schedule for Ireland's matches is as follows:

- Friday, November 29 | 2:15 p.m. ET: vs. Wales

- Tuesday, December 3 | 2:30 p.m. ET: vs. Wales

Several other North Carolina Courage players are also participating in international friendlies during this period. Aline Gomes has been called up to Brazil's national team for two friendly matches against Australia after a strong performance towards the end of the NWSL regular season. She earned her first senior cap for Brazil last year. Initially named to the roster, Kerolin Nicoli had to withdraw due to injury.

Brazil's friendly schedule includes:

- Thursday, November 28 | 5 a.m. ET: vs. Australia

- Sunday, December 1 | 3:35 a.m. ET: vs. Australia

Feli Rauch will represent Germany in friendly matches against Switzerland and Italy as they conclude what has been a successful year for German football, highlighted by a bronze-medal finish at the Paris Olympics earlier this year.

Germany's scheduled matches are:

- Friday, November 29 | 2 p.m. ET: vs. Switzerland

- Monday, December 2 | 2:30 p.m. ET: vs. Italy
