The North Carolina Courage has announced the addition of international forward Cortnee Vine to its roster. Vine, known for her World Cup achievements and domestic successes, is expected to significantly enhance the team's offensive capabilities.

Vine has earned 28 caps with the Australian National Team and was instrumental in the team’s performance during the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup held in Australia. Her decisive penalty in the quarterfinal shootout against France remains a notable highlight in Matildas' history.

During her last four seasons with Sydney FC, Vine made 65 appearances and scored 30 goals. Her contributions were pivotal in securing three consecutive Premierships from 2020-21 through 2022-23 and back-to-back Grand Final championships in 2022-23 and 2023-24.

Prior to joining Sydney FC in 2020, Vine played for Brisbane Roar, Newcastle Jets, and Western Sydney Wanderers. Over eight seasons in Australia, she accumulated 32 goals and 19 assists across 87 appearances.
