U.S. Rep. Valerie Foushee (D-NC) voted against a bill to deport illegal aliens who have been convicted of driving while drunk or impaired.
Adams joined 150 House Democrats in voting against H.R. 6976, which was introduced by U.S. Rep. Barry Moore (R-Ala.) The bill passed the House on a vote of 274-150. All but one other member of the North Carolina congressional delegation voted against the bill.
“Illegal migrants who’ve trespassed into our country and then commit additional crimes need to be deported immediately," Steve Cortes, founder of the League of American Workers (LAW), told Durham Reporter “Drunk driving is a serious offense that leads to tremendous pain and suffering for American citizens.
"But the Democrats would rather prioritize criminal illegal aliens than protect Americans," said Cortes.
