City of Raleigh issued the following announcement on Sept. 23.
The City of Raleigh is soliciting proposals from non-profit organizations for capital investments or renovations to facilities to increase or expand capacity or address community health needs. This funding is intended to improve community health outcomes, including but not limited to, behavioral health, mental health, food security, or other health issues exacerbated by the pandemic, as well as related public health needs through capital projects. To be eligible, applicants must request at least $100,000.00 and should be first-time recipients of ARPA CHI funding. RFP responses are due October 14, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. The total available for this opportunity is $3,000,000.
All information related to this solicitation is on the North Carolina Interactive Purchasing System (IPS). It is important that all Proposers submitting to this RFP periodically check the North Carolina Interactive Purchasing System (IPS) for any Addenda. It is the Proposers responsibility to ensure that all addenda have been reviewed and, if required signed and returned.
Funding for this grant is part of the $73.2 million Raleigh received from the American Rescue Plan Act. Raleigh is committed to investing these funds in projects that:
- Align to the City’s strategic plan and community priorities
- Support equitable outcomes for most affected populations
- Leverage and align with other government funding sources
- Make the best use of this one-time infusion of resources
- Have a lasting impact
