Durham Parks and Recreation issued the following announcement on Oct. 22.
Due to low water conditions, Lake Michie, located at 2802 Bahama Road, will not be operating boat rentals, boat launch and bank fishing until further notice.
The lake property will remain open for passive recreation and will be closing on Monday, November 8 for the season. For canoe and kayak rentals and bank fishing, please visit Little River Lake.
