TOWN OF MOORESVILLE: Street and Parking Lot Sealing Repairs and Asphalt Markings

Town of Morrisville issued the following announcement on Oct. 2. 

The Town of Morrisville has contracted with Fred Smith Company Inc. to perform street and parking lot sealing repairs and asphalt markings to the following areas starting Monday, October 4 through Friday, October 8.

Important Information on Driving on Repaired Streets

The contractor will be employing new technology for the Town known as Slurry Seal to complete the asphalt sealing repairs. Obey road signage and watch for the direction of traffic control personnel to ensure everyone's safety. Huntington Woods Neighborhood – (Slurry paving)

  • Halley’s Court
  • Farrell Court
  • Wysferry Court
  • Ivy Hollow Court
McCrimmon at The Park Neighborhood – (Slurry paving)

  • Dyersville Drive
  • Corwith Drive
  • Vail Court (intersection only)
Preston Grande Neighborhood – (Slurry paving)

  • Rainbrook Drive
  • Truehart Way
  • Grattan Court
 Morrisville Community Park – (Slurry paving)

  • Note: The park will be closed on Friday, October 8 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Public Safety Parking Lot – (asphalt markings)

Town Hall Parking Lot – (asphalt markings)

The paving repairs and sealing will improve the appearance and integrity of the community roadways and parking lots. Anticipate some delays during the workday. The contractor will make every effort to keep any delay minimal in duration.
