TOWN OF MORRISVILLE: Street Paving and Sealing Repairs Scheduled August 23-27

Town of Morrisville issued the following announcement on Aug. 21. 

The Town of Morrisville has contracted with Fred Smith Company Inc. to perform street asphalt paving and sealing repairs to the following areas starting Monday, August 23 through Friday, August 27.

Important Information on Driving on Repaired Streets

The contractor will be employing new technology for the Town known as Slurry Seal to complete the asphalt sealing repairs. Obey road signage and watch for the direction of traffic control personnel to ensure everyone's safety. Breckenridge Neighborhood - (asphalt paving)

  • Bristolwood Court
  • Gray Marble Road
  • Priestly Court
  • Spencor Mill Road
Liberty Rose Drive Neighborhood - (asphalt paving)

  • Legislative Place
  • Liberty Rose Drive
  • Old State House Drive
  • Olde Courthouse Way
McCrimmon at the Park - (asphalt paving)

  • Addenbrock Drive
  • Fulbright Drive
Preston Grande Neighborhood (Slurry Seal)

  • Rainbrook Drive
Providence Place and Shiloh Grove Neighborhoods - (asphalt paving)

  • Grace Point Road
  • Everette Fields Road
  • Mason Farm Road
Parking Lots

  • Town Hall Parking Lot – (Slurry Seal and pavement markings) Monday, August 23, and Thursday, August 26 the parking lot will be closed.
  • Morrisville Community Park – (pavement markings) Thursday, August 26, the parking lot will be closed.
  • Fire Station No. 1 parking lot – (crack sealing)
  • Public Safety Parking Lot No. 2 – (parking lot repairs and pavement markings) Friday, August 27, the parking lot will be closed.
The paving repairs and sealing will improve the appearance and integrity of the community roadways and parking lots. Anticipate some delays during the workday. The contractor will make every effort to keep any delay minimal in duration.
