Volunteering

Town of Chapel Hill issued the following announcement on Jul. 22.

The Town of Chapel Hill needs volunteers to help with weekly food bank distributions. Many of our neighbors have lost their jobs due to COVID-19 and are food insecure. The need for more volunteers continues to grow. Thank you to everyone who has helped with food distribution to make sure our neighbors are fed.

Orange County residents can pick up a box of food starting at 10 a.m. on Wednesdays Food distribution lasts until 11:30 or until all the food is gone. The drive-through food distribution takes place at the Eubanks Park and Ride lot in Chapel Hill. (https://goo.gl/maps/dFvYaVmVfoUR2Dwm6)
