Night work will continue at the intersection of N. Dillard Street and Holloway Street for a waterline tie-in as part of the City of Durham’s ongoing Fiscal Year 25 Waterline Replacement Project, covering Albany Street, Peachtree Place, and Gattis Street. According to the city, this night work is scheduled from November 24 to November 26 between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., with a detour in place around the construction zone.

No construction activities are planned for November 27 and 28 due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

From December 1 through December 5, crews are scheduled to install a thrust collar on Peachtree Place, test the waterline tie-in on Holloway Street, and carry out asphalt trench repair and restoration on Peachtree Street.

Residents can find more information about the project or view detour maps by visiting www.DurhamNC.gov/5386. The city also encourages community members to sign up for notifications regarding this and other Water Management projects through its official website.
