Town of Morrisville issued the following announcement on Nov. 7.

Veterans Day is next Friday, November 11. Here’s how you can show support to veterans locally: 

 Join us at the Morrisville Veterans Day Celebration on Friday, November 11, 10 a.m. at Indian Creek Trailhead.

 The event will honor veterans who live in Morrisville and those who work for the Town of Morrisville. Details: https://bit.ly/3syWJM0

If you are attending, stop by our display board to write a friend or family member’s name who is a veteran and/or active duty! The veteran display board will be at the event site. Not going to make it? Leave their name, rank and branch below and we’ll add it for you.

Incase of rain, the event will be held in the bay at Fire Station No. 1, 200 Town Hall Drive.

 The Morrisville Veterans Memorial Foundation will be having a 5k walk on Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Indian Creek Trailhead, 101 Town Hall Drive. Proceeds benefit the creation of a veterans memorial in Morrisville. Learn more and register at bit.ly/MSV5K2022
