Town of Morrisville issued the following announcement on Jan. 20.

Morrisville be advised of the following road construction work on I-40 and Airport Blvd. from Friday, January 20 (8 p.m.)  – Saturday, January 21 (10 a.m.).

 The NCDOT contractor will be realigning traffic on Airport Blvd. to use the newly constructed bridge.

 After 10 a.m. on Saturday, previously closed ramps (I-40 East to Airport Blvd. off ramp and Airport Blvd. on ramp) will be open to traffic.

 I-40 West to Airport Blvd. off ramp and Airport Blvd to I-40 East on ramp will remain closed on Saturday so the contractor can finish the new connections for these ramps to Airport Blvd.
