Congresswoman Valerie Foushee recently expressed her positions and actions on various issues through a series of tweets. The posts, dated March 3 and 4, 2025, cover topics ranging from healthcare to consumer protection and artificial intelligence.

On March 3, 2025, Congresswoman Foushee tweeted about her participation with over 200 House Democrats in a unified message to Speaker Johnson and Republicans. She stated: "Today, I joined over 200 @HouseDemocrats to share one voice and one clear message: Speaker Johnson and Republicans need to keep their hands off of Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid." The following day on March 4, Foushee highlighted the importance of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) in protecting Americans from unfair practices. She tweeted: "CFPB is a consumer watchdog agency that protects Americans from unfair, deceptive, and abusive corporate practices. I joined over 200 @HouseDemocrats in challenging the Trump Administration’s unlawful dismantling of the CFPB in court."

Later on March 4, she announced her new role as Chairwoman of the New Democrat Coalition AI Task Force for the upcoming congressional session. In her tweet she shared: "I’m proud to announce that I will serve as Chairwoman of the @NewDemCoalition AI Task Force in the 119th Congress. I’m grateful for this opportunity & look forward to working with my colleagues to address AI risks like equity, bias, and disinformation."
