Congresswoman Valerie Foushee recently shared her views on social media regarding local development in Durham County and national political issues. Her posts highlighted ongoing discussions about community support, as well as criticism of the Trump administration.

On March 4, 2025, Congresswoman Foushee expressed her appreciation for a meeting with Durham County officials. She stated: "It was great meeting with @DurhamCounty to discuss Durham’s continued growth and development. Thank you for all the work that you do to support our community, and I look forward to continuing our work together to support residents of Durham County."

Later the same day, she criticized former President Donald Trump's administration. She posted: "Trump's presidency has been extremely alarming—we've seen rising grocery costs, attempts to slash Medicare, firings of workers by Elon Musk, & the White House abandoning our allies. I refuse to give Trump an audience to spew his lies & will be boycotting tonight's Joint Address."

Continuing her critique on March 5, 2025, Congresswoman Foushee remarked on Trump's priorities since taking office. She noted: "Since taking office, Trump has prioritized appeasing Putin and billionaires over the American people at every turn. Tonight's address was more of the same."
