The final international break of the 2024 NWSL season has arrived, with six players from North Carolina Courage set to represent their countries in various matches. The regular season finale and playoffs will resume in November.

Casey Murphy and Ashley Sanchez have been selected for Emma Hayes' first post-Olympics roster as USWNT head coach. They will participate in three friendlies against Iceland and Argentina. "Murphy has been a consistent name on the USWNT roster for the last few years, but the October window is Sanchez’s first call up in about a year."

The United States Women's National Team (USWNT) schedule includes matches against Iceland on October 24 at 7:30 p.m. ET and October 27 at 5:30 p.m. ET, followed by a game against Argentina on October 30 at 7 p.m. ET.

Denise O’Sullivan will join Ireland for a critical two-leg UEFA EURO 2025 Qualifying Round 1 Playoff against Georgia. Success across these legs would advance Ireland to Round 2 of the playoffs at the end of November, with potential qualification for the Euros on the line.

Ireland's matches are scheduled for October 25 at noon ET and October 29 at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Kerolin Nicoli, reigning NWSL MVP, returns to action with Brazil in matches against Colombia during this window. She recently scored upon her return to Courage after the Olympics.

Brazil's games are set for October 26 at 5:30 p.m. ET and October 29 at 6 p.m. ET.

Feli Rauch will play with Germany following their bronze-medal performance at the Olympics. Germany faces England and Australia in friendlies, including a rematch of the UEFA European Women’s Championship Final from 2022 where England won.

Germany's schedule features an encounter with England on October 25 at 2:30 p.m. ET and a match against Australia on October 28 at 1:10 p.m. ET.

Manaka Matsukubo has been called up to Japan's senior national team after her strong showing during Japan’s silver-medal campaign at the U-20 World Cup in September. Japan will face South Korea in both a friendly and a closed-door training match.

Japan is scheduled to play South Korea on October 26 at 1:20 a.m. ET.
