Town of Morrisville issued the following announcement on March 1.

Join as we celebrate Holi, the ancient Hindu festival marking the end of winter and welcoming the spring season.

There will be music, dancing, artisan vendors, cultural performances, food, and most of all - FUN!

The festival is free, and will feature dancing, Holi powders, and food for purchase. The Town will provide Holi powder to attendees to get the event started, but attendees are strongly encourage to bring their own Holi powder to keep the fun going. This will be a DRY Holi celebration, so participants are asked to leave water toys at home.

HOLI CELEBRATION PARKING/SHUTTLE UPDATE: Parking at Cedar Fork Community Center is reserved only for those working or performing at the event (with special event parking permits) or members of the public with handicapped placards.

All other attendees will need to use the parking lots and take shuttle transportation to and from Iron Mountain (826 Church Street) and Church Street Park (5800 Cricket Pitch Way.)
