Read the newly released Draft Actions for the Comprehensive Plan | CITY OF DURHAM: (DurhamNC.gov)
City of Durham issued the following announcement on Dec. 28.
Actions are a menu of projects, initiatives, process improvements, and other types of actions that our #localgov could undertake to work toward the vision of the plan.
The actions are organized under the same broad topics (ex. Housing, Transportation, Environment) as the policy recommendations.
We’re working to develop a complete plan document, and a final engagement phase will begin in January 2023.
Stay tuned for the release of the entire draft plan and opportunities to engage before its considered for adoption by our local elected officials.
To make the draft plan materials more accessible, print copies of the revised policies, actions, place types, and maps are now at Durham County Library branches, so visit the branch near you to take a look!
