City of Durham issued the following announcement on Nov. 1.
Durham City Council is considering redistricting to help maintain population balance among the city's three wards.
Federal and state law requires the City to redistrict every ten years following the U.S. census if the data shows that the wards are not substantially equal in population.
This item has been pushed back and will now be presented at the November 10 Work Session, followed by a vote at the November 21 City Council Meeting
