To help educate all North Carolinians and remedy this issue, the NCDOT has a program called Watch for Me NC. Educating drivers and having a high visibility enforcements by area police are the two main key goals of this program.

We all share the responsibility to make sure North Carolina roads are safe for everyone, including pedestrians and bicyclists. Safe places to walk and bike are important for supporting active, vibrant communities.
