Durham Police Department issued the following announcement on Apr. 7.
Yesterday, the Durham Police Department's Community Engagement Unit collaborated with @shpdurham and AT&T at Lowe's Grove Baptist Church. The group built 55 beds! CEU officers then delivered and assembled 6 beds for children throughout the City of Durham. This has been an on going collaboration between Sleep in Heavenly Peace and the Durham Police Department's Community Engagement Unit.
The Durham Police Department is proud of our CEU’s continued efforts to provide excellent service to the residents of Durham!
