DURHAM BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS: To Hold September 13th Regular Session Virtually Residents Can Access Live Broadcast Online or Durham Television Network

Durham Board of County Commissioners issued the following announcement on Sep 11. 

Due to the ongoing social distancing restrictions in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Durham Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) will continue to hold its meetings virtually. The Board will hold its next meeting – a Regular Session – at 7 p.m. on Monday, September 13, 2021.

The virtual option aligns with social distancing requirements which ensures the safety of citizens who wish to participate as well as Board members and Durham County Government staff.

Anyone who wishes to view the BOCC meeting can watch live on the Durham Television Network (DTN), Spectrum Channel 8. The session will also be streamed live on the Durham County website and on the County’s YouTube channel. Replays are available on DTN, along with AT&T U-verse Channel 99, Google Fiber Channel 8, and Frontier Communications Channel 70.

During the meeting, there will be one public hearing:

21-0553 – Zoning Map Change, 2104 & 2112 Ellis Road (Z2000042

Residents wishing to comment on the public hearing must submit them via email to the Clerk to the Board at clerk@dconc.gov no later than 2 p.m. on Monday, September 13.

Those wishing to submit comment regarding agenda items should email them to the Clerk to the Board at clerk@dconc.gov. These comments must be submitted by 12 p.m. on Sunday, September 12.
