Maskdispose

Town of Morrisville issued the following announcement on Jul. 30.

The Town of Morrisville continues to follow guidance provided by the CDC and Gov. Roy Cooper. Beginning Monday, Aug. 2, employees and visitors to Town facilities will be required to wear face coverings, regardless of their vaccination status.

Face coverings will also be required for all attendees at any Town meeting, regardless of their vaccination status; social distancing in meetings will be strongly encouraged.

The Town is not returning to remote Town Council, Planning and Zoning Board, or Advisory Committee meetings at this time.

Free COVID-19 vaccines are available to anyone 12 and older at more than 200 providers in Wake County by appointment or walk-in. No ID is required. The free clinic schedule is available at WakeGov.com/vaccine.
