Chairman Immanuel Jarvis (R-Durham County) shared a video on the Durham County Republican Party's Facebook page on Feb. 19, showing an array of Republican supporters.
"I want you to see and hear some of the people that I'm meeting and what their thoughts are," Jarvis said in the video about President Donald Trump's work over the last four years, entitled "Chairman Jarvis found himself around some politically friendly faces tonight."
Individuals featured in the short video mentioned a number of areas in which they believe that Trump has performed well in. Topics included criminal justice reform, support of veterans, the promises made and kept by the president and his pro-life stance.
"He's definitely fighting for the military and the police," a featured man in the video said. "(President Barack) Obama didn't do it."
According to the Durham County Republican Party's bio, their purpose is to "educate and inspire our citizens about the tenets of the conservative platform through acts of service, the promotion of Republican candidates, and providing ongoing events that invigorate the base."
