Durham Fire Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 21.

With more cold and wet conditions on the way, we want to remind everyone on how to keep their children properly tethered and safe while on the road.
These graphics are great resources for safe practices with car seats. Please refer to them and follow the guidelines any time you’re traveling with your small children.
