County of Durham issued the following announcement on July 20.

High Blood Pressure (Hypertension) is a serious condition if it is not managed. Damage that occurs in the body is not seen or felt by most which is why it is called the “Silent Killer”.

The Durham County Department of Public Health is bringing back the Hypertension Support Group this month and hope you will join us virtually. There is nothing to lose but perhaps a few mm of Hg (blood pressure readings). The group meets monthly on July 20, August 17, September 21, October 19, November 16 and December 21.

Join us! Setting our sights for 120/80 and below!!!!!
