COUNTY OF DURHAM: Board of County Commissioners Meeting On July 11th

County of Durham issued the following announcement on June 30.

The Durham Board of County Commissioners will hold its only scheduled meeting for the month on Monday, July 11th beginning at 7 p.m.

All BOCC meetings are held inside the Commissioners Chambers, 2nd Floor of the Administration I Building, located at 200 E. Main St., in downtown Durham.

During the meeting, there will be two public hearings:

1. 22-0394 – Public Hearing for Proposed Amendment to the Durham County Animal Control Ordinance

2. 22-0421 – Public Hearing for 2022 Bond Referendum

Durham City Council approved a contract with Kimley-Horn for engineering services on the Goose Creek Outfall Improvement Project. A public meeting about this $30 million infrastructure effort is scheduled for May 21 both online and at Mist Lake facility.
