County of Durham issued the following announcement on June 27.

 The 2022 General Election Early Voting Proposal and Public Comment Survey is now available from the Durham County Board of Elections.

The Durham County Board of Elections is preparing for the 2022 General Election. A major part of this preparation is establishing early voting locations as well as hours of operation where applicable. Per current law, the early voting period for the November 8, 2022 General Election is as follows: October 20, 2022 – November 5, 2022.

Public comments are essential during plan development and Board consideration.

The public comment survey is scheduled to close on July 13, 2022 at 5 p.m.
