Durham Technical Community College maintained its in-state tuition fees for the 2022-23 academic year, as revealed in the latest report, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.
North Carolina residents paid $1,958 to attend the two-year public college in both the 2021-22 and 2022-23 academic years.
Out-of-state students were charged $6,566 in tuition for the 2022-23 academic year, representing a 235.3% increase over resident rates. This amount remained unchanged from the previous year.
Approximately 98% of the college’s undergraduate students are residents of North Carolina, while about 1% come from other states.
Data indicates that 67% of full-time undergraduates who enrolled at Durham Technical Community College in 2022-23 received some form of student financial aid. Among them, 113 students were awarded grants or scholarships totaling $814,655, and 11 students borrowed more than $62,130 in student loans.
Across the entire undergraduate population, 1,803 students received grants or scholarships amounting to $16.4 million. Additionally, 310 students took out $2.2 million in federal student loans.
