CITY OF RALEIGH: Raleigh Parks Athletics Division Awarded 2022 Better Sports for Kids Quality Program Provider Designation

City of Raleigh issued the following announcement on Jan. 21.

Program Provider designation for 2022.  The Better Sports for Kids Quality Program Provider designation is a seal of commitment to quality and safety based on nationally accepted standards.  Achieving this designation demonstrates Raleigh Parks has undergone a review process and has shown a commitment to the children and families we serve.  Our organization was evaluated in the following categories:
• Written policies and procedures
• Volunteer screening
• Coach training
• Parent education
• Accountability
