The work of our Durham Emergency Communications Center, better known as 911, is critical. How quickly a call is answered, the information they provide, as well as the information the caller provides, can mean the difference between life and death.

 In our new City Life episode, Host Beverly B. Thompson talks with Director Randy Beeman and Assistant Director Tangela Walker about the work of the center and what their team is doing every day to ensure that Durham is a safe and secure community.
