City of Durham Police Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 20.

The Durham Police Department is dedicated to hiring and training officers who represent the best the law enforcement profession has to offer. Open houses are held twice a month as a hybrid online/in-person event. By attending an Open House, attendees can meet directly with recruiters to ask questions and learn more about the hiring process, benefits/salary of being a Durham Police Officer, training requirements, etc.  Attending the open house is optional, but strongly encouraged so applicants have a full understanding of the hiring process and requirements to become a Durham Police Officer.

TIME: 6pm – 7pm

LOCATION: In-person attendees should meet in the Police Headquarters Lobby by 5:45pm.  The Open House itself will take place in the Recruiting Classroom.  Virtual attendees can follow the link they receive when they register via Zoom.
