City of Durham Police Department issued the following announcement on June 30.

Durham Police investigators are trying to locate Carlton Ellis Hawkins, 80. Mr. Hawkins was last seen in the 100-block of William Penn Plaza in Durham, NC on June 29, 2022.  

He is described as a black male standing 5 feet, 7 inches tall. Mr. Hawkins was last seen wearing a beige hat, brown t-shirt, beige shorts, black socks and navy blue shoes. 

He is sometimes known to shave his head but his hair may grow back white.
