Broad Street waterline installation continues; parking closures remain through spring

The City of Durham has provided an update on the ongoing waterline installation project affecting Broad Street. According to city officials, the contractor will begin installing waterlines along Broad Street near Perry Street from March 2 to March 6, 2026. The work is set to continue north of Perry Street from March 9 to March 13, 2026.
